Played this (CoH) a lot back in the day but got MMORPG burnout. WoW, CoH and a few others all claimed my time until my time ran out!!!

I can't commit to anything these days with regards time. Work shifts, house stuff (the last six weeks have been mental. Doing some more today before work tonight at 19:45) and juggling my youngest son and girlfriend... My friends have forgotten what I look like I think.

Won't last forever. When the house stuff is done (a garage door fitter is coming to size up the place today, so a step closer) for the year I will have more time on my hands. You'll know when that happens because updates will come thick and fast!

In addition I was thinking of starting up a Fantasy RPG play by post for a long term campaign but won't do that until I know I can update every 24-36 hours at the very outside. Probably use more of an old school game like Tunnels and Trolls or very house ruled D&D (1e or BECMI) or MERP. Middle Earth Role Playing is absolutely brilliant for Dungeon adventures. Ran it decades ago for my group as a 'try this instead of D&D' and despite the groans they loved it, but then they were a bloodthirsty lot! Critical Hits add so much more to the game instead of 'You hit for 6 damage' consider 'Disembowelled. Dies instantly. 25% chance your weapon is stuck in your opponent for 2 rounds.' against the Orc you just hit.

Anyway, that's a future plan. Wanted to run Fantasy stuff for years (alongside the Supers stuff. I'll run this whilst people are interested with no end in sight) and even (maybe) the odd one shot Sci Fi game. My brain struggles with crunch these days so the game has to be easy to learn, easy to get hold of and play well by post.

Just a few more and then I am off to work. Some of these seems darker because they have a day-night cycle in the game.
