There is one story where the Hen-peeked hero, the Web's wife, decides she is tired of staying home and waiting for her crimefighting husband to come home for work. So she decides to become a crimefighter herself, calling herself Pow Girl! And her training to be a crimefighter? All her skills as a housewife!

And the Web doesn't recognize her! She decides maybe she will do it again someday but as far as I know, that was the only story she was Pow Girl.

Miss Fury was a comic strip that was cut up to make the comic book. She gets credit as the very first costumed female crimefighter, apparently.

And Veronica Lodge of Archie Comics finally get superpowers like the others and becomes Miss Vanity.

Ultraa, the Multi-Alien actually lasted about a year or so. I've read a couple of these, not too bad.

The Destroyer had a pretty good run in Timely. He lasted until the end of the war which only about 7 or so other Timely characters could say. Most only had 1-6 appearances.
