Has sj told you about cowboys and Aliens (yeah I know shitty title) with Daniel Graig (yeah I know shitty actor) but watch the trailer it starting to shape up its no suckerpunch granted https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zH7KZD5vGBY
Im guessing you guys have all ready seen the trailers for green lantern and Thor but check out Johah hex https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_l0zSd_DQQ4 looks cheesy but good or if you landed on your head as a child try family guy, its a trap (the 3rd star wars film)

Re: Iron skies
Bah, we had a nazi base on the dark side of the moon early last year! We should maybe sue 'em, cause it's never been done before... right? Or, ah, maybe it has, a zillion times (mostly in comics I should think) . Nazi/Aliens invasion in a film sound like fun. Another nice find Dave - where'd you get 'em from? I like that other one you posted too (sucker punch), from the guy who did Watchmen/300 (is it Zack Snyder?). So far that guy has an excellent track record in my book (haven't seen the owl film, but he made the remake of dawn of the dead which was ok, and he's lined up to reboot superman next year). I was thinking about superhero films the other day, and with the possible exception of a few films you can count on one, possibly at a stretch, two hands, the rest are absolute cack. It seems they start great and get steadily worse (Exception - Batman Begins/Dark Knight and Iron Man 1/2 where in both cases I preferred the first film but enjoyed the second too.) Therefore with this being a 'reboot' I reckon it's due to be a good one rather than being a sequel to superman returns, which was very disappointing. After the plane save in the first part, the rest was like watching paint dry. Superman should be about battling guys who can shatter mountains, blows holes in steel vaults with their eyes and control a cities mind, which is why Superman II was viewed by many to be their favourite, what with Zod and company ripping up the (then) largest movie set ever made. We can only cross fingers and hope about the new film... Avengers should be out by then. Here's hoping they don't make a dogs dinner of that either...
Re: Iron skies
wow nazi's in space. How do you know this isnt what actually happen? I was almost expecting Steve McQueen to take out the bike rider on the moon and make a great escape (sorry bad pun)

Iron skies
Hi all
came across the this fan made movie that is somewhat reminescent of the things we've been doing or at least were doing.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4KEueJnsu80
Its called Iron Skies it seems some parts spoof, but clearly from what I can see they also know what they are doing as the whole thing looks beautifully done. There is also a second trailer which I think has some excellent bits in as well.
Whole thing reminds me of Sky Captain and the world of tomorrow. But shall be interested to see how this one turns out.
