Magic Golden Age Heroes

Just examples of him using his powers in his first story. This 1st issue was published in 1961, so a few years before the secret agent craze.

A few pages of his origin story. He has been active since late in WW 2 apparently. Not sure when he join the secret agency, probably after the war when the OSS was disbanded.

Doesn't look particularly powerful physically, but powers appear to be Mind Probe (what he calls telepathy), telepathy (to hear current thoughts), Illusion (his main schtick, and that trick with the aeroplane suggests a range of several miles probably around 12-13APs). ESP I think would be 'Detect' or 'remote sensing' or both. Hypnosis wouldn't be huge APs as it's used on goons and lackeys for the most part as far as I can tell. He's an interesting character and something different.

I wonder if his eye patch came before Nick Fury or not..
