Thanks for the heads up - looks like a video watch for me. I prefer going to the pictures to hear the whizz bang pow of explosions and see a decent size screen. And hear some moron a few rows away on their phone etc... I have a projector but since I *had* to get rid of my enormous speakers and 5.1 amplifier it's not quite the same with a pair of squeaky computer speakers fed from a laptop, so it's gathered dust. But it will return! Oh yes!*

Looks like the film might do well at the Oscars, but Black Swan is it's main rival, I gather.

*when hell freezes over I expect

I took my wife to see the King's Speech today and although the film impressed me, I wasn't going to bore you with that. More the fact that as it took place on the eve and start of the war it was interesting to see the dress, the attitudes, the preparations and the sorts of things that we are very much caught up in at present.

I'd recommend it, if for nothing else - if like me you know so little about the war apart from the obvious headlines or more from old war movies that I'd struggle to know how real they were or historically accurate as compared to the real thing.
