Drone character idea

how about a character that would fly those military drones against targets that then gains the ability to control drones by simply using his mind. the limitation is that he can only control things that can already be controlled remotely, like your TV (but not your toaster). He could unlock your car and maybe start the engine but not drive it remotely unless it is a remote control car.

I think that's similar to what you are suggesting Andy (taken from Blood of Heroes). In this day of modern technology such a character would be very versatile, especially seeing how small drones are these days. Could carry them in 90s style Liefield (ugh!) pouches and send them out to scout...

hmmm .. I think you would have to get the "Useable at Range" advantage for the power if you want to be able to use it against a gadget that you didn't touch first. This would be a way better power if gadgets were more useable in the game. Imagine, controlling Iron Man's armor from a distance.

You would probably want your own gadgets too, so more gadget rules to have to figure out. Probably need that Omni-Gadget that can be what you want or need, once an adventure. Sort of like the second Mr. Terrific's power sphere.

It would also limit you a lot if the action is indoors, no way to fly a Predator Drone inside. But inside, if your power is high enough, opening vaults and security doors and controlling security systems might be doable if you make the control roll. Again, this is a 8-10 AP level game so might take up all your HP to make this guy.

Play around with it and see what you can do.

This is a blend of military, federal law enforcement and superheroes. So some killing is ok, mainly Advent folks, but preferred if you capture human criminals if possible.
