Rayguns and other fun weapons

Twilight Avenger was an interesting character who didn't last long when the comic book industry crashed in the late 80s. Their first two publishers crashed so they only had about 12-16 issues ever published between 3 publishers in the 80s and early 90s. I managed to read most of them. His adventures occurred in 1937 and the father of his comatose fiancee was the inventor of his gadgets. It was written and drawn to be a homage to the old movies serials of the day.
He had a halogen light on his chest he could use in low beam to see what was in front of him or in high beam to blind those in front of him. He had his gas gun that had 3 types of gases he could load into it: Smoke, Sleep Gas and Tear Gas. And his gas gun was always hissing a bit and releasing some smoke or steam. The gas capsules are on his bandoleer and on his belt that he would load into his gas gun.
His mask contained a gas mask and a voice modulator to hide his real voice. And he had been on the boxing team in college and was the quarterback for their team as well. He was just getting ready to graduate that year when he became the Twilight Avenger over the tragedy of his fiancee. You can find a compilation series on Amazon if you want to pick it up for fairly cheap. I would recommend it if you like the old slam bang movie serials or the creepy menace B movies of the 30s.
