Wonderman's new outfit

Just had to go look for a new outfit for Wonderman and I found a Canadian Hero named Captain Wonder from the Canadian Triumph Comics.




Instead of making the costume red and black, we make it red and blue with white highlights and gloves.  And oh, Captain Wonder could actually be another statue in the Yogi's retreat since he also knows a Yogi.

Captain Wonder

Orphaned when his parent were killed by a criminal, he went to live for the next 20 years with an old Yogi in the old temple of Aidni in the Himalayan Mountains.

When the Yogi calls forth the power of the gods of wisdom, speed, and power from Valhalla, a lightning bolt transforms the youth into Captain Wonder, possessing the strength of a hundred men, great wisdom and speed, the power to fly like a bird and swim like a fish. And was bulletproof.

He once teamed up with The White Mask.

His enemies include Dr. Frank N. Stein, the Legion of Living Bombs, Sin Lee, and even Satan himself!

He was basically Canada's Captain Marvel but getting the same power Captain Marvel got but from only 3 gods.

For his costume knock something up in Heromachine. Make it look as old school as you can (which is what I used for the recent Prof Wynde cover. I even have half tone version but it makes text unreadable so I may need to play with that).

Here's a couple of ideas for Wonderman if he ever does change his name and costume.

Put a cape on this guy, maybe, and stylize an "A" on his chest and he can be Atlas.




This was from a costume contest. Pretty good Batman and Robin for a game that has to try to avoid directly copying any copyrighted heroes.

Just thought of this, if we change Wonderman's look, are we changing the name too? Do we want to keep either "Wonder" or "Man" for his new name or something else entirely?

Perhaps no need even to change anything. It was in character suggestions and might only be an issue/problem for Fred Carson if he wants to resume life in America. He's got to survive the War first...

WHAT?!?!? Are you saying that there's a chance we could die while being superheroes!?!?!?!

That never happens in comic books!

Oh wait.
The Comet dies in his brother's arms, who decides to fight crime in his place as the Hangman.
Prisoner 711 dies and another hero takes his place.
First Marvel Captain Marvel dies but it because of cancer he got from exposure to radiation while adventuring.
Ferro Lad dies saving the Solar System from the SunEater.

OK, maybe it does happen.
