Codename: Anyman
Agent: Lance Allard

No sooner had Allard barked the order and the children started to climb in the truck (assisted by their grandfather and Steed) when he turned to see a strange and alluring sight. A naked woman, unperturbed by the cold, stood in the shadow of a tree! Though the shadow covered most of her it left little to the imagination, and when she spoke it was almost as if she'd broken a spell cast over the scene!

"Good evening..." she purred. "I am Lady Lupine, just one of a number of recipients of treatment by a man named Bedlamm. I and my... brothers... were out for a stroll when we came across your plight. Tell me, can we be of assistance in some way?"

The growling quietened all around the truck. Emma turned, gun in hand "Cut the nonsense Nazi! You know who we are and I have to give you fair warning, even to a floozy like you - back off, or die!" she said as she levelled the weapon at the woman. Though her features and most of her torso were hidden, Allard could see white teeth, including elongated incisors, glinting in the moonlight! "Yes, I suppose we would waste time dancing around the issue. Let us be down to business then!"

She stepped out of view, around the back of the tree, but continued to speak. "There is no need for bloodshed... hand over the... Anyman, and everyone else will be allowed to go free!"

Emma glanced at Anyman, then about at the trees. The old man came up to stand next to her and raised his own pistol. "I stand with you." he whispered.

Allard looked about. The scene was deathly still. The darkness accentuated every sound, mostly of the childrens whimpers and the adults breathing. None of the usual sounds of the night were in evidence. "Your answer?" yelled the woman from behind the tree. "My brothers are tired and hungry after their run, and I can scare hold them back!"

"I surrender," Anyman said. Steed gasped when he said those words. "I WOULD surrender, I should say, if I could trust you to keep your word and let these folks go and not send anyone after them or have someone waiting for them further down the road. So tell me, how can I trust the word of a fanatical Nazi when your own leader has made a history of breaking promise after promise?"

Anyman waits for the answer, smiling sadly at the woman, standing calm yet ready to burst into action.

"I can't trust her at all," he thinks to himself, "but damn!!! Did I just sound just all noble and self-sacrificing! Look at my pose! My face! There would not be a dry eye in the crowd, if this was on the stage. Noble Hero Sadly Meeting His Fate! Perfect!! Got the scene in one!"

Even in the worst of situation, the ham shines through from time to time. albino

ooc: Ain't no way to trust her word, so we are going to have to fight.

The voice from behind the tree hardened when it spoke next. "You break into one of Der Fuhrers most secret installations, killed dozens of his soldiers, and injure hundreds more. You completely disrupt the operation of one of his most important operations and you dare to demand? Ha!" she growled. The voice was changing rapidly, deepening and becoming most beastly...

World War II - Putty Issue #1 - Page 5 25tkdpv

When the creature stepped from around the tree it stood over six feet high at the shoulder. A huge wolf with human like hands and walking on hind legs, the thing was terrifying - to a normal human. The little girls screamed, and the old mans gun fell from nerveless fingers! Growling from around the truck came as three more creatures - bigger than the female wolf woman, but somehow slightly less fearsome - came into view. They sized up their prey, and the woman growled again "You werrre rrrright not to trrrust me! My brrrotherrrs would have devourrred the otherrrs as soon as you werrre in irrrrons and drrragged away!"

OOC The wolf creatures are now 10m away from the truck, coming from a direction each (NESW) Initiative... 8 Good guys, 3 bad. 3 frames...

Steed moved forward (OOC 1 fr) and levelled a hand at one of the creatures! It howled in rage and pain as its mass increased to the point where its limbs felt like they were weighed down with lead!

OOC One of the male werewolves has 1fr, the others have 3. The female werewolf has four. Over to you...

"Old man," snaps Anyman, "get back in the truck! Protect your girls!"

ooc: Okay, male reluctance to hit a woman working there. Even is she is a snarling slavering beast.

Anyman moves up to the wolfman that Gravity Girl has in her power and swings at him.

Anyman closed in on the struggling Wolfman and swung!

OOC Hit and 22Htc, reduced by dividers.

The Wolfman grunts in pain, but seems to be more bothered by the fact that it's weighed down and hardly able to move! The old man moves to the truck and calls out to Anyman "Here!" he yells, scooping up and tossing a candlestick that lands on the ground near Anyman. The female werewolf laughed out loud "A candlestick?" she growls/laughs.

The old man turns "There are old tales, told before you were spawned, woman! Didn't you see the yankee movies from a couple of years ago?"

The expression on the wolf woman changed. "Silver? You think...?"

The afflicted were wolf growls, reaching out for the candlestick. As its hand closes around the thing it howls in rage and pain, smoke rising from its hand as if burning! There's a sizzling of flesh and it yanks its hand away, writhing in agony!

The other were wolves see this and immediately retreat into the woods, the last to go being the female. The injured werewolf staggers to its feet but can't move into the trees. It eyes the candlestick warily, and the man who punched it even more so.

OOC The werewolves, save the injured one, have moved inside the treeline. The candlestick is at Anymans feet and the werewolf is in swinging range.

Looks like all my minor problems with the computer has become major ones. This means I will only be able to access this site on the weekdays when I pop into my office for a few minutes. So I will be slow posting until I replace my computer.

Actions: Grab candlestick and punch the same werewolf with it and keep punching until he goes down.

Looks good. Only thing I would change or note, is he is more fluent in speaking German than level one due to Putty's influence.
Picture is fine as well.

OOC Duly noted - I'll amend it to show he's fluent in German and post the sheet up in the character sheet section.

Anyman took up the candlestick and beat the stricken Werewolf senseless with it, the creature trying to ward blows off with its arms but finding the silver cut deeper than any steel would! The creatures' howls of agony rent the air and dragged out roars of outrage from the werewolves in the treeline. They stepped out, closer, only to move back with fear in their eyes at the sight of the bloodied man with the mangled candlestick in his hand.

The werewolf was a pulped mess.

Even as the others looked on, he changed, morphing back to a normal - though extremely gore splattered - human. Surprisingly enough, his gasping breath rattled out, and surprised all those who heard it... "Thank... you....ahhhhh...." And the man died, freed of the curse he'd wanted no part of, once he'd found out the price the Fatherland had demanded from him in return for 'unlimited power and ability to serve your country'.

Anyman turned. The female werewolf stood boldly at the edge of the trees and almost looked to be ready to challenge Anyman, then Steed came to stand beside him, hands raised to apply crushing gravity at a moments notice should the monsters come any closer. "Another time..." growled the werewolf. Then she howled and turned, running off into the trees and darkness. Their howls carried away into the night until all that could be heard was the sobbing of the terrified children. Steed looked at Anyman, then at the pulped man who'd been a werewolf, and went to comfort the children.

The old man came over. "You are a man with a heart of iron. Noble, but uncompromising. Though you do good, many will not understand the fury and venom you can bring to bear on your enemies. Including, perhaps, your lady friend." Anyman shivered, adrenaline draining from him. The choice for him had been easy. There was no way the werewolves would sink their fangs into the others whilst he still had a choice. He looked at the mangled candlestick, drenched now in blood. With superhuman strength he straightened it out, pulling it to more resemble a silver club. Looking out into the night he finally felt safe from attack - from now.

=========

An hour later the wheel was changed...

Fading light and the others fear of attack, jumping at shadows slowed the process. Anyman and Steed had a choice now - to forge on alone or escort the old man and the children to the German border, and from there make their own way back to Britain, or even to their original mission in Austria. Germany would soon be buzzing in the search for him.

Anyman was now the 3rd Reichs most wanted man!

Yay ME!!!!!!!! Let's see them try to sleep safe at night now, not knowing if I am standing next to them or not! The fear of what could be could actually be greater than the fear of it actually happening.

I think the cover of the old man and his family would help, at least for a bit. If I feel that the Germans are hunting us by using their detectors for our power type or for Putty's "signature", then we will split from them.

The truck limped its way into the hills and finally arrived at a cottage on the side of hill with a picturesque view of the valley. The children sprinted from the truck, laughing and playing, the horrors of the previous day forgotten, whilst Steed stretched her legs and looked about before moving about the place, ever the soldier. Doubtless she would be inspecting the escape routes, possible directions of attack and signs that anyone had been here.

Anyman stepped from the truck and looked around. The cottage was on a gentle slope with trees high up and a small paddock for animals around the back, though none were in there at the moment. The cottage was homely, looking like something from a Hands Christian Anderson fable. In short, the war was a long way from here. it overlooked a beautiful wooded valley with a glittering river running through it. He sighed, and went in to the cottage where the Old Man had already started preparing a meal.

=========

Elsewhere...

"Report!" barked the German commandant. He was still in disbelief at the state of the training facility. The beautiful yet deadly woman stood in front of him with the muscular feral looking men who accompanied her everywhere. "Weren't there more of you?" asked the Commandant.

"Yes sir. The British Agent killed one of our number. Another was left to track them."

"Killed? What? You are the recipient of a treatment that the mad Professor Bedlamm declared would turn you into the ultimate killing machine! And yet one man, who single handedly smashed our operation here, which is why we are in the process of shutting it down. We are still counting the dead! We will be counting for a long time afterwards the cost in delay to the superhuman program! Tell me that you... what? track?"

The Commandant finished his rant, then turned to an aide. "Fliers. All that we have! NOW!"

=========

Back at the Cottage...

The meal had been lovely. Steed was still paranoid, checking windows every now and again and going outside to listen before coming in having seen and heard nothing out of the ordinary. The old man was sharing a story about how, in his younger days, he'd fought in World War I against the Germans, but loved the country so much he ended up settling here with his family. Now he was having to leave his adopted home with his Grandchildren and their parents dead thanks to the Nazi regime.

Steed came in. "looks like it's all clear out there." she smiled. "May as well grab some sleep. Want to take first watch?"

Suddenly there was a crack in the distance somewhere, echoing across the valley. Steed turned, wondering what it was, then put her hand to her chest and pulled it away, blood showing... "Lance..." she said, looking up "We might be in trouble..." She staggered and righted herself. "Get the kids out!" she screamed as a howl ripped out across the darkened valley!

OOC You're in a small cottage on the side of a hill. 100m up the hill are trees. 300m down and around the hill the trees begin. The cottage is wood, Steed was shot through one of the windows. Looks like the Nazis intend to get their revenge sooner than expected! They may get rather more than they bargained for with the worlds most powerful secret agent! Over to you...

"Get the lights out," Anyman yells, as he grabs Gravity Girl and lowers her to the floor. "Curtains covering them! Don't let them see you and stay away from the windows!"

He checks to make sure the wound isn't fatal [ooc: hope it's not], and then grabs a handkerchief and presses it agains the wound, while the old man douses the lights in the cottage.

"Hold this," he tells her.

He looks around and sees the candles are being doused.

"Okay, I'm going out and find whoever did this and try to take them down," he tells the others. "Once the fighting and the yelling starts, I want you all to pile in the truck and drive like crazy to the border. Take Gravity Girl with you! I will do my best to make sure that no one follows you. Don't wait for me! I will either get away on my own or will double back and take out whoever else might be following us."

With that, he gives Emma a quick kiss, grabs his silver candlestick club and staying near the floor, scuttles out the door, closing it behind him. He then purposely exposes himself on the hillside, with the moonlight[?]/ starlight[?] behind him. He then runs down the hill towards the area the shot came from. He runs in a serpentine manner instead of straight on in order to confuse any snipers.

ooc: The intention is draw all the fire so the others can get away. Hopefully, even though shot, Gravity Girl can help protect the others if anyone chases them.

World War II - Putty Issue #1 - Page 5 Empty Re: World War II - Putty Issue #1

Post  Admin Mon Jan 31 2011, 14:35

CODENAME: ANYMAN
AGENT: LT. LANCE ALLARD

Gravity Girl grins as she sees the wound high up on her chest, near her collarbone. She grins as Anyman holds a handkerchief to it and whispers "A few weeks ago that would have killed me. Now?" She starts to rise, crouching, at the same level as Anyman. "It hurts - I won't pretend it doesn't but only in the way a stubbed toe or bang on the head would - a few minutes and you're good to go!" Her face tells a different story and she grunts "I'll be a minute or so." She holds the handkerchief to the wound.

Anyman hisses for the lights to be cut.

"Wait!" Emma says. "You can't go out there alone! What if there are more of them? What if..." She stops as she sees the two frightened young girls crawl in to be hugged by her Grandfather. She sighed. "I'll get them clear, then..."

She was silenced as Anyman gave her a kiss, then turned to scoop up the candlestick.

Crawling to the door he turned as the old man hissed "Wait! You should know. We were hunted by the Nazis because I, and my son after me, were archaeologists. I came back here for a reason. They..." he glanced at the two little girls "They killed my son and his wife because they would not reveal the location of an artifact that Hitler wants. He is obsessed with the Occult! I have some knowledge of it, and an item that Hitler wants..."

He pulled a rug up form the floor and raised a floorboard by his fingertips. "They killed my son..." he said with tears in his eyes. "I see you are a hero. A TRUE hero... and that your heart is strong. You are a warrior, but you fight for what is right. Here..."

He pulled from the cavity under the floor a fine carved oak case, long and narrow. The carvings and markings looked very very old indeed. "It may be of help, but there is no string..." he said, opening the case to reveal a fine bow, less the string as the old man had said. "The carvings say it was the smith, Waylands, from ages past. They also say that when the day is at its darkest, a hero will rise to wield the weapon. I do not see how, but maybe you can use it against those beasts. I... could not be sure that you weren't Nazi agents. I am now."

He hands the bow to Anyman. In his hands it tingles, seeming to come alive. The wood flexes slightly, and Anyman feels... something within the thing.

'It is enchanted.' said the dark rasping voice within. 'A great enchantment, by a man who fought against shadows an age past.'

Anyman moved from the cabin, candlestick in one hand bow in the other. Immediately shots rang out, hitting wood as the Vanguardian weaved his path through the darkness towards the cover of trees down the hill, and towards his attacker!

=========

Checking his timepiece, Hans Lothar looked through the sight of the rifle...

Lady Lupine had ordered him to follow. Shifting his form from animal to hybrid he had kept up with the old truck at a distance and followed to the cabin on the hillside. Though the lady had said the old man and the children were of no consequence, Lothar thought otherwise. He felt... something about the cabin. Something forbidding. So he'd taken up his rifle and used his vastly increased senses to see through the darkness and take aim. A single shot, and the woman had fallen from view. One down... Now the other man - with candlestick in one hand and... an order wooden stave in the other? He almost laughed, then he remembered what had happened with Friedrich. 'Underestimate this man at your peril!' he thought to himself.

Tracking the mans path across the field he felt sure he'd got him in his sights, but his vision blurred every time he sighted directly on the man. What the...? He glanced at the small communication device he and his comrades used, courtesy of the vile shapeshifting aliens they were duping into helping them. He called for backup, and been told they were on their way - the fastest fliers amongst them. Lothar was certain of his power and abilities, but this man was dangerous, and more than that, fearless. "Hurry" he whispered, firing again, and cursing as he shot feet wide...

=========

Anyman had dashed across the field and been surprised when the shots spat up feet wide from his position...

The marksman was obviously highly skilled and had made a shot in darkness few would have attempted, and none pulled off. His thoughts were that the wolfmen were highly trained soldiers and with enhanced abilities that made them deadly. Still, he had already proven his own worth by slaying one of them. Still, that didn't explain why this elite marksman with superhuman vision was shooting so far off the mark. He glanced back up the hill and saw the truck rattle into life and head off up the path, labouring at the climb but with every moment moving further to safety.

Now he was inside the dark treeline, the marksman could no longer see him. He heard an answering howl. The gun had been discarded.. the hunt on! But whom was the hunter, and who the hunted?

OOC Any special tactics? Also, you have the bow of Wayland, which is a stick in the hands of anyone but a true hero. Hitler wants it, you have it. And Anyman is a hero by any definition... over to you...

Hearing the truck start up and move off, Anyman decided he had been a distraction long enough. Now he started moving silently as he could, as he went looking for where the sniper had been hiding. He darkened his skin, and clothes now that he knew how to make them appear on his body, to blend in with the forest as best he could. He was no hunter or tracker and didn't know all that much about moving silently through a woods but he did his best.

OOC: Candlestck club in belt, staff in hand as he goes hunting for a killer.

CODENAME: ANYMAN
AGENT: LT. LANCE ALLARD

The wolfman, Hans Lothar, scanned through the darkness. His night sight was superb, leant to him by the beast he had been spliced with. He didn't pretend to understand the technology the mad professor had used, rather he'd been surprised the Professor was even trusted with it at all! The man had been taken from a cell with scrawl written across the walls and given equipment to 'play' with. Lothar clenched a fist, inspecting the muscle and hair on the back, the long talons. He was the perfect killing machine. So what was so special about this British agent that he could have caused such havoc at the training castle, and killed one of his own brethren? He would earn honour and glory by slaying the man!

=========

With darkened skin Anyman stole through the forest, senses peeled...

The bow seemed to be a living thing, sharpening his senses. He spun, noting the passage of millipede twenty feet away as it crept over grass. He looked to the floor, noting the passage of a hedgehog within the last hour, and the fox that had followed it minutes later. Looking about, he saw an Owl in the distance, invisible in the darkness save for the glint of moonlight on the pale cream of its feathers. He was suddenly aware of a strong scent, that of a powerful animal.

Frowning, Anyman pauses, crouching. A hand scythes through the air where his head had been a moment before! It smashed into a tree and sent splinters everywhere!

==========

Lothar the Wolfman gasped!

How had the man seen him coming! He pulled a huge clawed hand back and paced, prowling, around his prey. Something was wrong with his eyes. He smelt the man, could hear his heart beating fast, and he made enough noise when moving to wake the dead... But he left no track when he moved, and he could barely see the man! What did he face?

He saw the silver rod, and roared his rage. There was something else in the other hand, but that couldn't be made out - it shimmered to his vision, no matter how hard he stared at it!

The Wolfman leapt to the attack!

OOC 1d10=9 Anyman, 1d10=7 Wolfman. 1 Frame. How do you want to attack the Wolfman? It's within swinging distance...

"Bad Doggie," Anyman scolded in German, as he swung the strange staff at the wolfman.

With a chopping motion Anyman smashed at the enemy!

OOC And what a smash. 1d20+6+2=28, 2d6+15=26. Critical hit. The bow is a very powerful magical artifact with special properties and bad enough for the creature Anyman faces. A critical on top?

At first Anyman wasn't sure he'd hit, and took a look at the unstrung bow. Then he looked up at the creature and expected it to leap at him. Instead a thin red line ran across the creature from shoulder to opposite hip. Then it slid apart in two halves with a slurping sound!

The creature crashed to the floor with a wet squelch, and Anyman saw it change back to the form of a man!

Just then he heard the drone of aircraft in the distance - very soon he'd have more company!

OOC well that was an anti climax - I knew the weapon was powerful (x2 damage vs foes vulnerable to its magical powers, and ignoring dividers) but a critical hit, and near maximum damage roll really smashed it up. Now however Anyman has bigger problems!

Anyman went looking for the dead man's rifle. He was totally surprised to see he had killed the man with a single blow. Either the staff was more powerful than he thought or he had gotten in a very lucky blow.

ooc: If he finds the rifle:
Anyman looked for a tall tree and then climbed it. He need to know what kind of plane was in the air. A fighter? Bomber? Troop Transport? Maybe he could shoot it down. He could try. If it was a bomber, he planned on running, just in case they tried to bomb the woods with him in it.

ooc: If he can't find the rifle then look and see what kind of plane was coming and decide from there.

A few metres from the site of the brief battle he came into a small clearing where it was possible to get a good view of the cabin. Sure enough he found the rifle - a high quality snipers type - and slung it over his shoulder whilst climbing a tree. Scanning about in the dark sky towards the sounds of engines he saw fur shapes - two troop transports and two escorts - clearly the Nazis were taking no chances with the man they sought!

As Anyman pondered his next move he heard the crack of branches below! Someone was moving about! Had he not killed the wolfman or had the thing a companion!

Looking through the darkness he could see a figure far below him, but was unable to make out details. All the while the planes got closer. They would be there within the minute, and in range of this rifle within around 30 seconds.

"In for a penny, in for a pound," he mutters, ignoring for now the noise below him, he takes aim at the closet transport plane. He knows it will take a lucky shot to even damage it or hit the pilot but even that lucky shot will help lower the odds against him.

Post  Admin Sat Feb 05 2011, 00:30

CODENAME: ANYMAN
AGENT: LT. LANCE ALLARD

Anyman took aim...

OOC Roll 18. That will do it!

"Lance?" came a call from below. Anyman was almost distracted, then looked back to the lead plane. With visibility reduced by darkness, only the shining light of the moon glinting from the cockpit glass offered any real target, so hewaited for his moment, seeing the plane come closer, and closer... then shot at it!

CRACK!

He knew he'd struck true when the plane started to angle downwards... and headed straight for where he was in the tree! He had only moments to ...

The plane struck the trees and crashed, bursting into flame as fuel lines ruptured and sprayed burning fuel across the forest, lighting up the night!

Rolling, having jumped from the tree, Anyman rose, turning to see Emma clamber to her feet. "You sure know how to show a girl a good time! I couldn't let you face that thing alone though - I had to come back!" she gestured through the dark trees to where a bicycle, borrowed from the back of the old mans cabin, had brought her down the hill. "Pretty hair raising in the... dark?"

Emma turned as from the burning wreckage three figures strode. Overhead the other planes circled, but Anyman only had eyes for the Nazis emerging from the burning wreck! He was blinded by the bright flare of the flames, and tensed when he saw a muscled man, towering over 7' tall, a fiery skinned woman, looking like living magma, and an all black figure with yellow halo about its form move through the wreckage of the main body of the plane which had smashed down only metres away (OOC pictures to follow - I need to hit the sack after a loooong day at work)

The burning woman turned to the wreck. "The others.. dead." she said in German (which Anyman understood perfectly). "Then this man will pay." said the big man, popping his neck with a flex. His skin glowed gold from the flames, but seemed metallic from this distance (10m away).

The dark figure with glowing halo around its form zipped into the air, floating and considering the man and woman who faced them!

OOC Initiative 7, good guys, 2 bad guys. Gravity Girl is by your side, you have the rifle, the bow without a string and the silver candlestick. In the drawing room with Professor Plum. No, just my little joke Smile Behind the trio is the burning wreck of the plane, in which half a dozen elite Nazi troops and three more Nazi metahumans perished thanks to Anymans shot in the dark that killed the pilot who slumped onto the controls and slammed the plane into the trees! Unfortunately, it's never the weakest that survive such crashes!!! Over to you...

Tossing the rilfe and the candlestick to Emma [who I hope isn't Miss Scarlet in the library, my favorite place to find Miss Scarlet!], Anyman moves forward towards the big strong looking guy.

"Bring the guy out of the air so I can take him out, Gravity Girl," he says as he charges and swings to quarterstaff at the big man. "Then you take care of the girl. I really really hate attacking women and hope to avoid it as long as I can."

"Too bad you do not have access to all my powers," a voice inside him says. "Not only can I change my shape, I can stretch as well. You could have just reached out and pulled him down to you."

"Shut Up! I thought you had gone away so no one could find us," Anyman said outloud while swinging.

"They keep finding us anyway, so I might as well come out for awhile," Putty said a bit tartly. "I'm getting tired of waiting in the wings."

"Well, I'm the star, you can just keep waiting!"

Emma looks a bit askanced at Anyman seeming to talk to empty air in the middle of a fight, and about acting, it appeared. lol!

OOC 2 frames to move, gave the handover of the candlestick in the pantry to Miss Scarlett as a free move Wink 1 frame left to swing...

The German laughed as he saw the smaller man rush at him. "You are the one everyone wants? This... Anyman?" Up close he was enormous. And distinctly metallic! in fact, it was more than just for show! Anyman noted the man had sunk several inches into the earth where he stood, and that his skin seemed soft, liquid like... liquid gold that was! Of course, the intense heat from the fire was affecting his super dense gold body, but off the top of his head Anyman figured the Nazi must be worth, by body weight alone, hundreds of thousands of pounds! Maybe more! With a grin and thoughts of a jolly good day at the races, a slap up meal and a night at the Opera with Emma on his arm Anyman sighed and swept the unstrung bow round.

"A stick? You attack me with a stick? I will have you know that..." started the large gold man.

OOC 1d20+2+6=14, 2d6+15=23. ouch. Hopeless roll. Miss.

He weaved out of the wave, then swung downwards with a huge gold fist! He chatted quite amiably as he swung "...I considered it an honour to be chosen to face the man who thwarted our plans. Now?"

OOC 1d20+2+6=24 hit, 2d6+20=25, 1d20+2+6=26 hit, 2d6+20=28, 1d20+2+6=18 hit, 2d6+20=23, 1d20+2+6=9 Miss, 2d6+20=30. That's three hits. Damage is 8, 9 and 7 after dividers. Any response?

Gravity Girl looked about when Anyman had barked the order, before he realised he was talking about her! With a grin she thrust her hands at the energy being. The thing about energy, even it was subject to the crushing and all powerful force of Gravity? you only had to see the effects of a black hole to know that!

OOC Roll of 20 (GG) vs 14 (Energy Guy)

Gravity Girl grinned as she saw the flier consider his actions. Suddenly he struggled to stay aloft, crying out from somewhere in his dark form "Vat hef... ze woman! She is... somehow... crushing force...!" he cried.

OOC her other frame is used taking the candlestick from Colonel Mustard

The Living Lava lady (OOC ah hey, you out of anyone I ever Roleplayed with will appreciate the cheesy names and costumes from back then, so don't be too harsh with any jibes Razz ) moved forwards, every footstep leaving an outline of flame on the floor! Anyman suddenly felt a wave of heat wash over him, and Goldbrick turned shouting "Stay back! You vill melt my form your stupid woman!"

The Lava Lady looked annoyed, but started to walk around in a wide path to where Gravity Girl was stood.

The Energy man seemed to be gathering his energy for an attack. He levelled his arm and blasted at Gravity Girl!

OOC 1d20+3+8=28, 6d6=19 Htc, 4d6=11 Htk Hit. Gravity Girl is a tough cookie however...

"Ha!" shouted the energy Nazi. "Not so... what?"

He was amazed to see Gravity Girl still there, still holding the crushing power of Gravity over him! (OOC if she can get another attack in)

OOC Phew Firefox crashed. Thought I'd lost the lot. You have 1 frame, as does GG. Over to y'all

"Wow! The power of Gold sure has gone downhill since the War started," Anyman just as badly quipped after taking three quick and hard blows.

Actions: Wanna hold this frame or start using it, depending on game mechanics, to grab Golden Boy and either throw or walkover and smash him into Living Lava Lady. Let them use their own powers against them. And if they get initiative, take lots of damage while waiting for my chance to do so.

World War II - Putty Issue #1 - Page 5 Empty Re: World War II - Putty Issue #1

Post  Admin Mon Feb 07 2011, 23:14

CODENAME: ANYMAN and GRAVITY GIRL
AGENTS: LT LANCE ALLARD & CAPT EMMA STEED

OOC roll of 19, successful grab. Initiative is 2 good guys, 3 bad. Goldbrick swings... clack! Roll of 17, hit, 24 htc reduced by dividers to 8. 32htc in total taken by Anyman. He has 14htc remaining.

Goldbrick feels his arm grabbed by the normal looking fellow the authorities have claimed was so dangerous. He's about to offer a quip when he feels his soft-ish metal arm dent under the mans iron grip! He delivers a shocking blow to Anymans head which sways the British agent, but he holds on, doggedly!

"What do you think you're..." starts Goldbrick. Anyman grabs with his other arm (OOC 16, hit) and runs towards Lava Lady! Goldbrick can't see this, but calls out "He's stronger than he looks! Look ou..."

WHUMPH!

The gold man slammed into the near white hot woman and both went down. Instantly Goldbrick screamed, his metal form bubbling and flowing over the submerged Lava Lady who cried out, unable to breathe as liquid gold filled her lungs!

OOC roll of 11 was enough to hit, and other frames spent moving...

Gravity Girl maintains her hold on the Nazi and moves towards him.

"You hef made a mistake, girl!" he cried. "My powers are deadly up close!"

The dark energy guy moved within swinging range of Gravity Girl, who didn't reply, even as it seemed he was about to close his hands around her head!

OOC roll of 17 for GG, 14 for the other guy, plus ego scores. No contest.

The Nazi groaned, then seemed to spin on the spot! He changed from being an energy being to being a thin pale man in his underpants as he collapsed unconscious on the floor of the forest! Gravity Girl breathed a sigh of relief and moved over to Allards side, shielding her face from the intense heat of the pooling gold over the Lava Lady. "What now? Finish her off or make a run for it? Those planes are still buzzing about!"

Lava Lady spat gold from her mouth and scraped it from her eyes. Though immune to heat this was like being painted or covered in film! She would suffocate unless she could clean the stuff off!

Of Goldbrick? He was a bubbling puddle on the forest floor. The worlds most expensive bubbling puddle mind...
